“Hardships bear Beauty” was painted when I came back from Buenos Aires to live in Berlin. It was a moment of intense shift and transformation as I was leaving my life of 8 years behind to start over new, bringing only the essence of all I had lived within me and 3 suitcases.

This painting came to me as a reminder how we can rise like the phoenix from the ashes and our innate capability to create joy and beauty, even out of sadness and loss.
