Auf größeren Gongs hat er einen sehr feinen Effekt und ist so eine großartige Ergänzung zur Klangpalette. Der Aufschlag des Schlegels auf der Gongoberfläche ist kaum hörbar und überrascht dennoch mit erstaunlichem Volumen im Klang. Er ist ebenfalls für Klangschalen ab 700g geeignet.
